EDIT: For a better overview, there is now a new parts submit forum category.
Please add your new parts there, one per topic, and use the part name as the title.
This forum topic serves as a place to share everyone’s self-made fritzing parts. Simply add a comment and attach your .fzpz file.
Please include the following information:
name and manufacturer of the part
which views you created (breadboard / schematic / pcb)
which views you tested (breadboard / schematic / pcb)
Optionally, also add an image of the real part and/or its fritzing views.
Thanks!
Advanced users are also invited to create a pull-request at the fritzing-parts repository on github!
Can I also use this to request for some parts from other users who know how to create them?
I would like to request the LM1875T staggered legs, capacitors with the legs separated at 400 mil, LM3886.
@exztinct01
I would suggest making your own post in the parts section of the forum. That way this thread can be specifically devoted to already made parts by the fritzing community. Thanks you for your understanding. Also, please provide any and all links to documentation of your said part. This helps folks should they be able help, to easily access the said information (ie: part dimensions) that they need to make parts…
@steelgoose: this is perfect work! thank you very much!
because we want to keep the core-parts clean, i have to obsolete these parts and
exchanged them with a copy of themselves but with a cleaned module-id! swap them with the obsolete
mechanism should keep all connections.
Thanks fa1, I am working on several other connector series, I think I have it down to a science. Too may projects… Hopefully I will get more done before the next core update is published.
the good thing: with our new fritzing release, the parts will get updated separately to the fritzing app. that means all parts pushed to the fritzing-parts-master will automatically delivered to all fritzing users!!! same with “bin”-updates!
You read my mind, now I don’t have to request it… I about got the four Grove connectors done, not sure what I will work on next… Any request? My templates work best with wafer type connectors…
i still don’t understand how to share my work (fzpz file) with the community!!! only through clone on github and then “pull request” ?! i try to post and use “Upload” but as i’m a new user it’s prohibited…
In a few days this should work (i think this is a spam, phishing protection from wordpress, someone is looking into this, but apparently it hasn’t been changed, so it might be a good reason.)
Ok, for a better overview I have now separated the “parts” category into “parts help” and “parts submit”.
Instead of commenting on this post, please create a new topic in the “parts submit” category.
Arduino Uno (Rev3)-upsidedown.
This is the same part in the part bin but flipped upside down so you can place it on top of the PCB.
You can manually put the original part on the top of a PCB in Fritzing but all the text is reversed, so I flipped the PCB UNO svg and flipped back all the text.
