Don’t know because you didn’t fill in the template in the parts-help category with a web site for the part, with physical dimensions and connector information (which isn’t a surprise, mant people in the correct category delete the template and get this same frustrated complaint!) In case it isn’t clear not enough information to do anything with.

The terminalIds being groups is the major problem it causes this:

In theory Fritzing 1.0.5 is supposed to correct this, but it doesn’t appear to work if the terminalId is a group and thus connects to the center of the pin rather than the end as it should. The following two tutorials may be of assistance if you want to make parts (FritzingCheckPart.py and Randy’s Inkscape schematic extension which is the preferred way to make schematics are covered in mine.)

Part creation howto part 1 breadboard and pcb

Someone in this forum post requested help to fix up a part. So while doing that I decided to record what I needed to do in order to fix the part to provide a tutorial to create new / fix broken parts. If you start from the Tarjeta S4A EDU.fzpz file posted in the above thread, you should be able to recreate my improved part posted in the same thread. I started by loading the original part in to Fritzing, that indicates breadboard is (at first look anyway) pretty good, but schematic and pcb are…

OK but it does what i want and that is to easily draw breadboards using this part. Thats why i didn’t pay attention to the PCB and schematic bits. If it doesn’t help anybody else thats a pity.

Perfectly valid attitude. It would be useful to specify that the part is breadboard only and/or blank schematic and pcb so there is no expectation that they will work, but if someone complains later one of will fix the part.

OK thanks for getting me this far. Its a cheap AliExpress part so i guess people will buy rather than engineer it into their own designs.
