Optocoupler

If you want the THT you can follow the procedure to make one here

I tried to do something but I’m not sure about the dimensions and I don’t know how to modify the schematic…

L2135 LTV827.fzpz (5.6 KB)

Never mind, Here is my version

LTV827 Optocoupler.fzpz (8.0 KB)

A google search of the form “fritzing part optocoupler” turns up a variety of already made parts. One of them may do what you want and have a schematic. I think there are some in core parts but no duals.

Peter

@SukaBlyatdu59 Did you look at my tutorial?

Your part has some issues

Comparing yours and mine, you have to change the schematic labels, pin labels, and part labels (from LTV to IC)

All above changes are covered in my turorial

Thanks you so much !

Yes I look at it but I didn’t understand everything, I’m a newbie on Fritzing
I’ll take a look at how to do it, thanks.

Be aware that part making is complex and tends to bite without warning. The svg editors (Inkscape and friends) do things that Fritzing objects to which can cause problems. You are best to run parts through FritzingCheckPart.py which will check and correct many common errors. You can find it in this tutorial on part making:

Peter

It’s fine. Part creation is complex

If you’re interested, you can also look at the part creation tutorials. We are severely lacking in people capable of making parts. We’re happy to answer questions regarding Fritzing Part Creation

It’s very interesting, I’ll try to learn it, but for now I have a project to finish ! :rocket:
I’m going to spend a bit more time on it when I’m on holiday.

If you upload the .fzpz file for your completed part (upload is 7th icon from the left in the reply menu), one of us can check it for you and provide corrections.

Peter

To add on to Peter, here’s what he meant:

  1. PX in font sizes
  2. Missing terminalIDs for schematic
  3. svgIDs wrong (connector1pin, connector2pin instead of connector0pin, connector1pin
