Aliexpress linkHi
Does anyone have this part? I searched with Google and in the forums and I couldnt find anything. I will try to create it if it is not available
Aliexpress linkHuh a lot of ESPs in demand
Iāll make this once Iām done making a ESP32 part
I managed to do this by modifying a similar part.
ESP-M1 ESP8285.fzpz (13.6 KB)
Unfortunately your part is not correct. Making parts is difficult. This tutorial may provide help in fixing the problems:
Otherwise waiting for @RAPTOR7762 ās part would be the best bet. While breadboard will technically work, it is incorrect in that standard practice is to show SMD parts mounted on breakout boards that convert to standard 0.1in breadboard spacing.
more of a problem is schematic:
Due to the lack of terminalIds the wires are connecting in the center of the pin. After that the spacing is incorrect. The pins should be on 0.1in boundaries to match the default grid size. PCB is also incorrect in that the pads are not on 1.5mm spacing (they look to vary around somewhat although possibly not enough to matter very much.) As well it is missing the silkscreen outline of the part.
In addition the font-sizes have px dimensions which will sometimes cause the font size to get very large or very small (although that doesnāt appear to have happened so far in this case.)

Yes, but it may/may not screw up the New Parts Editor
@florino In general for SMD parts plant them on standard 0.1in adaptors (there are some special cases though!) so that they can fit snugly in breadboards (applicable virtually and in reality)
@vanepp Thank you for guide. I think there or in some other forum post of yours I found the suggestion to create a new part from an existing similar part. Thatās why I copied some similar ESP board and started modifying it. I donāt use the schematic. I usually just go to PCB and start adding components and circuits. I tried however to modify the schematic view to what seemed to be correct to me. Apparently it was not.
@RAPTOR7762 Thanks for the advice. I will go over it again this weekend.
@florino Iām fixing your part, so no need
@florino this should be the part you want
ESP-M2 ESP8285-fixed.fzpz (8.4 KB)
Edit ā this is the M2 part, not the M1 part
Thank you! Sorry for the late reply. Iāve been caught up in another project and didnāt have time to open Fritzing for a while. My ESP-M1 or M2 arrived the other day.
Today while going through the boards I want to make, I saw I need ESP32-WROOM-32UE and I couldnāt find it in the forum so I took another try in creating it from a similar part. I will post that shortly.
There should be one.
A google search of the form āfritzing part ESP32-WROOM-32UEā turns up a number of hits. Depends on what you want (the module or a breakout board) if they will do or not.
Peter
Thank you both. Not the full board, just the chipset. I will post it today. I want to print a pdf with the footprint to check against the real chip and see the match
You likely want to start from this part which may already do what you want or need mods.
Peter
Actually there is one that you corrected a while ago. This is the wifi version. I just cut the part with the wifi antena and all the parts that were in there.
Thank you for all your help!
