edit:

A google search of the form “fritzing part IBT-4 generic breakout board”

turns up this

part which may or may not be what you want.

Peter

That is exactly what i needed.(IBT-4.fzpz)
You also provided to me some interesting insight. My extensive Google search did not find this because i did not have fritzing part in the search string. Todays search engines are so badly degraded primarily due to purchased vendor priority that one now has to put more specific search terms into the search and even that doesn’t always override the tracking and directing.
Chat GPT did inform me that this symbol existed on the Fritz Forum, but as a first time user I found the part Find/Submit category quite confusing. I wanted to find a part that existed not start a new topic. There needs to be better separation between searching fora part(often with limited technical data) and submitting a new part.
Further I will review the IBT-4 Motor driver50A part submit if i can find it. What you provided above indicates PWM support which s more than I the nformation I now have…
Thanks for your lightning reply. If iI learn enough I will try to verify and complete a part submittal for this version.

There is already a corrected version of the part in that thread so if it what you want that will probably do it.

Peter

Thanks I had already gone off to use what you provided and didn’t finih the thread. Once get my project running I wiil go back and look at it.
Thanks.
Greg
My apologies for typos and spell. 16 months of weekly chemo therapy has taken a toll.

Hi Peter

For my fixed part here

There’s an error in the part (schematic missing terminalID in fzp file

Can you help me fix? (I seriously have no idea what 7-zip is doing with my files! They get corrupted, so I can’t just edit .fzp directly)

I do think the template needs revision. I’ll discuss this with landracer (Nick Sutton)

One good addition would be a section suggesting the first thing to do before posting is to do a google search of the form “fritzing part part_name” to find an already existing part. I don’t imagine anyone will read that any more than the rest of the template but it is worth including.

Peter

Okay I’ve invited you to join the conversation with him.
