Hi @frederik-dude can u semd the the link to the part (seller’s website, datasheet)? Or is it your won creation?

Hello Frederik,

Is this the part you mean?

Regards, Harald!

Hello Harald

yes, it is.

Regards Frederik

Good evening, Frederik,

I’m a bit stumped. First, I’m trying to understand the problem in more detail.

  • You want to put this shield onto an ESP D1 mini module to connect Grove modules (Groove-Module) to the ESP
  • Is this module available to buy yet? I couldn’t find it.
  • Or are you supposed to build it yourself and create the PCB based on the template on GitHub
  • Does the shield fit this ESP? Part request : Mini NodeMCU ESP32 D1 - #4 by vanepp

I downloaded the files from GitHub, but I’m not very proficient at extracting the necessary SVG files. I’ll give it a try, though.

Regards, Harald!

Hi Harald,

  • I am not sure if you can purchase it, I got it from the guy who made the github for school project.
  • Yes. That part is just missing the groves, but it fits otherwise.

Regards, Frederik

Hello Frederik,

I’ll try to implement the part. But I’m not that fast; I still need to learn first. So a few more questions:

  1. The shield cannot be plugged onto the D1-ESP32-Mini-Board in Fritzing.
(It’s the same with the Arduino shields.)
  2. Is your main focus on the connections that are brought out via the Grove connectors?
  3. You don’t want to produce a printed circuit board (PCB) onto which the D1-ESP32-Mini-Board and the D1-ESP32-Mini-Shield would fit?
(So the PCB representation isn’t that important.)
  4. The part is intended to depict your circuit diagram.

One more question about the language: is my text being translated, or do you also read the German version? If not, I would prefer to translate it. I don’t know how well the automatic translation works.

Best regards Harald!

Hello Harald,

At least regarding the translation question, I can help; I’m seeing your post in English. I haven’t yet figured out how to easily view your original post. My own posts are also shown to me translated after a short wait when I write them in German.

I have to ask now, I’m really confused.

Are there two posts in the forum about this part?

Regards, Harald!
