How to make non circular holes in parts

I’m trying to create a part with non-round through holes but the holes are not showing up in any gerber viewers. What am I doing wrong?

Fritzing doesn’t support non circular holes in parts. The only thing you can do is use an outline svg in the sketch to produce slots and that is a PITA and can’t be moved. Your best bet is to use a hole big enough to cover the slot.
