ESP32 Wroom 32E Freenove

Hi I need a part made for ESP32 WROOM FREENOVE 40 pin.

https://www.reddit.com/r/Esphome/comments/1djvxz3/best_config_for_freenove_esp32_wroom_32e_board/#lightbox

I’ve tried taking a different pin layout wroom and modifying the labels in Inkscape but just seem to have broken things even more.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

@14thmonkey These are the closest
@vanepp Are there any parts that are the same (I may have missed out some)? If not, I can make one

@14thmonkey Please also provide the website that states the part’s dimensions. Can 0.1in standard headers be soldered to the pins?

Hey thanks for that. One of those is the right number of pins but the wrong labels, this is the one I’ve tried to modify the svg for in inkscape but no luck. When i re-import it to the new parts creator in fritzing, the scale is way off and fritzing crashes.

The second one doesn’t have enough pins as only has 19 on each side.

I think the specifications should be here:

The dimensions and pin locations of the board seem to be exactly the same to the Esp32-Wrover-cam boards.

Sorry this is the first time ive requested a part so a bit unsure of the process!

@14thmonkey I’ll make the part

@14thmonkey Not useful datasheet. Need WEBSITE that has dimensions

yeah i can’t find it, all the ones I find are of a differnet configuration dev board

Then do the pins line up with a 0.1in header

Yeah they do use a 0.1in header.

Every data sheet I find only shows the 38 pin version not the 40 pin :frowning:

Okay, Part creation started

Amazing, thank you!!

Nope, the only 20pin one I know of is the esp32-pico-kit-v4 which isn’t FreeNove and doesn’t look the same (doesn’t have an ESP32 WROOM module but an IC.)
