Thanks, btw i’m trying to add a component in Fritzing, but it keeps popping up with this error

can u help me in this problem? Thank u

Probably, if you supplied what part is giving you the error (preferably by uploading the .fzpz for the file which would allow me to try it and see what happens.) An image of an error message with no context isn’t much use.

Peter

okay, but what should i do?

Send us the.fzpz file

Upload is the 7th icon from the left in the reply menu and accepts .fzpz files.

Peter

DM860A Stepper Motor Driver.fzpz (9.3 KB)

For me, on Fritzing 1.0.5 on Windows 10 the part loads fine

which indicates it isn’t a fault in the part. That leaves your machine. The error message indicates it can’t find the path C:/Users/Asus/Documents/Fritzing/parts/user/ so are you using Onedrive (as this sounds like Windows?) Fritzing has been know to not like using Onedrive so moving Fritzing to a non Onerdrive hosted disk may help. Checking that the path exists and is writable would be another good step by the userId you are using would be another good step. part.prefix0000_911c140c21fa07989d9ddccd6943645a_1.fzp is indeed the .fzp file for this part so that indicates it has tried but apparently failed to load the part. Is Fritizing working with other parts (such as the ones in core)? If not you might try reinstalling Fritzing as the install may have failed.

Peter

okay i’ll try, thanks for the answer

If a reinstall doesn’t fix it up, post again and I’ll see what else I can think of. It looks a lot like a permissions problem, if you are on the latest version the installed should complain if the permissions aren’t settable correctly I think.
