Hello everyone i have this relay circuit im going to make and the kind of diode i saw on a video i cant find it again he used a 1N4001 diode and im not sure if that is correct. here is the digikey link to it
A 1n4001 should do fine. It has a 50V breakdown voltage and a 1A current rating and your relay is using 5V and takes about 90ma shouldn’t be any problem. The Fritzing part is for the 1n4001 (which has fairly large leads) so it should fit the board with no problems.
