What is with the fritzing StarterKit and CreatorKit?

In the fritzing example projects, are the Sub-projects “Fritzing Creator Kit”, “Fritzing Starter Kit” and “Fritzing Workshop”.

And there existing a playlist for the Starter Kit in english
youtube (dot) com/watch?v=9E779EfPLI4&list=PL8CD32146ED5CD04E
in german
youtube (dot) com/watch?v=998xrtggNfM&list=PLCBA3EB7225FF750C
and for the Creator Kit in german
youtube (dot) com/watch?v=Ubd0NcbB_bE&list=PLKGvwBlRVbwnZQNZrsPigFRClxWRgOe-A

It is also mentioned on the fritzing website
fritzing (dot) org/shop/starter-kit/
fritzing (dot) org/starterkit-instructions
fritzing (dot) org/fritzing-creatorkit
fritzing (dot) org/shop/

And it was mentioned in the news. For example on Golem
golem (dot) de/news/fritzing-creator-kit-im-test-bastelkasten-fuer-nachwuchs-arduino-hacker-1312-103496.html
and
kinder-technik (dot) de/arduino-einstieg-mit-fritzing-starter-set/

But where are the Kits do buy?
On Amazon both are sold out

amazon (dot) de/CREATOR-KIT-MIT-ARDUINO-DEUTSCH/dp/B00F8A2154

Same on Conrad Electronics
conrad (dot) com/p/fritzing-creator-kit-mit-arduino-uno-deutsch-1284420

The server of the fritzing shop with all its sub-domains are no longer existing
shop (dot) fritzing (dot) org/

Will the fritzing kits ever be republished?
Or PDF-versions of the books together with links to the components of reichelt (dot) de or other shops to buy every component for its own, to have at the end one of the fritzing boxes.

And what is with the “Fritzing Workshop” example? Existing videos for that?

Btw: I wanted to post that text, but it comes a
“Sorry, new users can only put 2 links in a post.”
So I have modified the links.

The kits were discontinued some time (3-4 years) ago (which is why they aren’t available any more.) The documentation and videos are still up for people that have the kits.

Is it possible to get an image of the unassembled Dinosaur - TwitterSaurus - from the StarterKit so I can create this project from the book please? Thanks!

I expect not. The starter kit had already been discontinued when I got here 8 years ago. Unless the new development team has documentation somewhere (which I think is doubtful) it is probably no longer available. There appears to be a project in projects here though but no images that I can see.

Thank you - I lead the occasional Arduino class - and the 1hour paper craft ones always go down the best with the class - where you need get out the glue sticks and scissors along with the servos and joysticks. I have documented one of my own design (google: “Arduino Steve”). This dinosaur would have been awesome to go with it if anyone ever finds anything about it like how the servo was attached inside. Cheers!

Unfortunately I don’t think there is anyone left from the team before 2016 (when development stopped) and AFAIK the new development team is all new folks so there is no one II don’t think anyway!) with knowledge of the Starter kit any more. The developers may be able to find something in an archive somewhere but my impression is that things were pretty much rebuilt from scratch when development restarted. Hopefully someone from the Fritzing development team will be able to shed some light on this (or I think more likely confirm that all is lost unfortunately!) Many of the folks that posted here when I started in 2016 don’t post any more but a few of them do, so someone may have a reference if we are lucky.

Revamping a Fritzing Creator Kit successor is on my TODO list since years.
