SOT-8 part required for CAN-BUS IC

Name of the part
SOT-8

Previous work, similar parts
Well, that’s exactly my problem: I can find many DIP- and DIL-based parts, but something generic SOT-based, I was too stupid to allocate so far.

This picture shows the part from above, so that is easy to see were connectors should go, and which diameter they have.

Happy Trails your’s,

No help necessary anymore, as I did study LEARNING tab and was happy to find the video that explains super simple conversion from THT to SMD:

Wow, this is an awesome feature!
Now I simply took a 555 timer as a starting point and will check, if that fits.

Lötlümmel

It is unlikely to do so. The package is somewhat odd and Fritzing doesn’t currently have one. This part however should do what you want. You need to print the pcb footprint out at 1:1 scale and check it against a real part though.

Super Peter!

Thank you very much for your kind support with the file and your hint to double-check with the 1:1 printed output.

Happy soldering,
