SOT-23-16 Generic IC

Hi,

I was after a generic SOT-23-16 IC, I would use the integrated generic IC tool which is excellent for this type of thing but unfortunately SOT-23 is unavailable. has anyone made one like this before? save me making one?

It doesn’t appear any of the current 16 pin SMD footprints match this so making a new one looks to be you only choice.

Hi Peter,

Damn hahaha, I was hoping maybe someone had made one, I’ll start with a 16pin TSSOP in the generic IC tool then edit it to match in Inkscape.

That should work. The generic IC will provide breadboard and schematic as well as pcb. If you modify all 3 to match the IC you need that should make what you want. If you run in to trouble feel free to post, part making is not at all simple.
