Hello everyone,
Can someone create a solder pad that I can also use and connect in the schematic?
I have the problem that I need to place some components on solder pads, but I can’t create a proper schematic because the pads aren’t visible or available there.
It would be great if the pad sizes could be variable — like 2 mm, 3 mm, or 4 mm.
Is something like that possible?
You can change the position in Inspector to place it at whatever pitch you want (although you need to do that for every connector, it is probably easier to change the grid size to what ever increment you want and use the snap to grid to position the pads in pcb.) In schematic (and breadboard but you likely don’t care about that) you will get a connectable pin like this
The 0.1in grid is standard in schematic but the position can be moved the same ways as in pcb (either in Inspector or by changing the grid size and using snap to grid.) A custom part could be made but it likely isn’t worth the effort unless this won’t work for some reason.
