Yes that was in Inkscape, using a couple or rectangles and circles for the screws. With practice it becomes reasonably easy. A graphic artist can make some amazing images but I am no where near that good. There is a way in Inkscape to convert an image in to an svg, but I have never been that successful with it and usually use paths, circles and rectangles to do what I need. Often I will import the image then overlay the drawing elements on the image to get what I need. Here is the breadboard svg from that part
right click on the image and select save image as to download the svg.
