Part Editor unusable when editing part without a breadboard image?

I tried to modify the part “AC power” to have a breadboard image.

But after doing an “add image” in the editor nothing happened. the graphics is not shown. Well the svg is shown in the bottom right. And the file is copied in the .config dir. But thats it.

When I save the new element there is no breadboard view. also if I restart.

The editor seems to be basically unusable. The most absurd thing is that you can not create new parts. hardly ever seen something so crazy.

The parts editor is currently a work in progress and doesn’t cover all use cases. It’s currently safer (and easier) to create parts “by hand”, using a vector design tool and a text editor.

Can you elaborate on what you’re trying to do?
