Your previous work, similar parts
I have a working PCB that uses the larger 2.54 mm connector for a DB9 connector used on many motherboards. I have since found a 10 pin to DB9 adapter with a much shorter cable that is better suited to the project enclosure that uses a smaller header connection.
Datasheet❗
The official documentation of the part manufacture is linked here:
This is the general spec. The part I need is 10 pin 2 row.

Board mount header for cable connector.
Other notes:
I tried the generic header as suggested in another post, but cannot get the correct spacing.
When setting 2mm between pins, there is still 2.54 between rows.
This photo shows my attempts:
The original connector at 2.54mm pitch
Using the 2mm pitch option
Using two single row 5 pin creates a messy layout
This part should do what you want. You may want to print the pcb footprint out at 1:1 scale (the default) and compare it to a real part. The shroud is sized to what the data sheet says, but it looks fairly large to me. As well if you use the finest (8 thou) trace you can route traces between the pins.
If you delete the current part via “delete minus” it will delete the part but leave the traces which you can then (usually with great difficulty though) reconnect to the new part with relatively minor re routing (assuming you can make the connections!)
Do you happen to know of a 16pin part that is similar to this? I have been hunting for a HUB75 socket for hrs. Thanks. I will put a new request if this is inappropriate.
