Is there a way to see if a LED is on in schematic view?

Hello, I am an absolute Fritzing beginner and I just bought the license mainly to simulate my hobby circuits and create PCBs for it. I am using fritzing-1.0.5 on Unix.

When I simulate a simple LED circuit, it nicely lights up in the breadboard. However, nothing happens in the schematic view.

For simple circuit like this, maybe this doesn’t matter but I also would like to simulate a 10 x 10 LED matrix, which when I nicely arrange it in the schematic view, looks completely chaotic in the breadboard view. It seems a lot of work to keep all views tidy (tips & tricks are greatly appreciated).

What would be useful is maybe a some state information in the inspector view if one doesn’t want to change the schematic view.

Unfortunately, there is no possibility of checking the status of the LED from the schematic view currently. It is my TODO list, but it could take a while until I find time to implemented and gets merged into Fritzing.

Adding properties in the inspection panel could be useful, thanks for the idea.

The only workaround I could think now it is to add ammeters in series with the LEDs to see the current flowing through the LEDS. Or just arranged the LEDs nicely in the BB view (they do not be to be connected).

That makes sense. Thank you for the quick response.

I thought the inspector would be a nice place to add such a thing because there are probably good reasons not too touch schematics and it already shows lots of useful information.

The DC motor already indicates rotation in the schematic.

The smoke is also applied in schematic to indicated overvoltage or overcurrent.

For LEDs we could apply color and even a halo on the two arrows.
