Hello,were you able to fix this problem .I’m experiencing the same thing at the moment and it’s really frustrating.i tested out my IR receiver using an LED and it did blink when I pressed a button on my remote but it doesn’t print out anything after connecting it to the arduino.same as you, when I play around with the output signal wire I get random numbers.i checked if I’m using the correct libraries , wire connections and the code ,they are all correct .What might be the problem cause the IR receiver is working as proved by the LED test and every specification is correct?
