I have this pinout:
GND: GND
VCC: 5V
OUT: GPIO 32 with 1k resistor
Pull down: esp32 GPIO 32 → 100kN resistor → GND
My concern is I thought VDD is a positive volate but upon checking on schematic it wires to ground. I assume my breadboard is correct but I got confused with the schematic. Help me out
You likely need to upload the sketch (the .fzz file, upload is 7th icon from the left in the reply menu) which would give us both the HC-SR501 part (which doesn’t appear to be in core parts) and doesn’t appear in this schematic fragment and the complete sketch to look at. There isn’t enough information here to do anything with. It is possible that the HC-SR501 part is incorrect (especially if “it was sourced from the net. A google search of the form “fritzing part HC-SR501” turns up this post which says that the part specified here is entirely broken and there is a fixed version lower in the post, but it is currently impossible to say if this is what you have though.
