The XR2206 itself comes with Fritzing. I think it was made by Sparkfun. I use it a lot.
I have a number of circuits in Fritzing using that IC at GitHub - poetaster/moat: A fritzing project to build a semi modular pocket synth. An analog companion to Bastl instruments Kastle.
In my case, I have a fixed (68 nF) frequency range but expose AM and have frequency adjustments on both A and B FM inputs.
EDIT: the file keep.v4.fzz in the repo above has the simplest layout.
It’s true that the XR2206 part is available on Fritzing, and it’s great to hear how much you use it! However, I have designed a custom Fritzing part for the “FunctionGeneratorKitwith XR2206,” which isn’t available in the Fritzing parts library. You might find it useful for your projects.
Check out my recent post “Custom Fritzing part design for FunctionGeneratorKitwith XR2206” where I discuss the design process in detail. I’d love to hear your thoughts on it!
