It’s not too big of a deal because the app is perfectly usable, but I feel like the parts and breadboard view are quite a bit more blurry than they need to be when using “normal” zoom levels, and only come into focus when zooming way into the part. (see pictures for clarification on what I mean).
I believe this to be a bug due to my laptop having a 4:3 aspect ratio, rather than the usual 16:9 aspect that most monitors use but I’m still posting it here in case there is a simple solution for this I’m missing.
This is good to know for documentation so thank you. is there a way to make in sharper when working on the project though? makes it easier to see where to connect stuff at a glance rather than having to hover over individual pins to see which is which.
Upload the sketch (the .fzz file, upload is 7th icon from the left in the reply menu, same one you used for the image.) They shouldn’t be that blurry in Fritzing because parts are svg and thus scalable. I would like to see if the sketch runs normally for me (which would point to a video card problem on your system probably which may be fixable.)
Alright, I added it just now. I think the sketch itself is fine though as it looks sharper when opened from my desktop (2560x1440) but quite blurry on my laptop (2560x1600). I honestly think it’s an issue with scaling as setting the scaling to 100% for my system fixes it, but the UI becomes so small it’s annoying so I like to keep it at 150%.
It does seem a bit blurry, but that may be mostly the size of the breadboard image. The parts all appear to be svg (it is possible to use images in parts which aren’t vector and thus don’t scale) so it mostly looks to be size. It may help if you can move the various parts closer to each other to reduce the size a bit. Here are a couple of screen shots from my machine of your sketch
Full size is a bit blurry because the grid is so small (moving the parts closer together if possible would help with that.)
Yeah moving them a bit closer will work. Maybe we will get an update later that retains the resolution of the SVG files a bit more when zoomed out (maybe as a graphics option?). Anyway thanks for the help. I’m amazed at how quickly people respond on this Forum.
