Hello anybody (and specially Peter ),
don’t become old… i’m looking for a normal sized breadboard with splitted power- and ground-lines
I only find bb-32655 split power buses , but the holes of the powerlines are not even with the others, they are offset.
i couldn’t find a breadboard with half/splitted powerlines which are not offset. Maybe i become blind…
Greetings to canada !
Hello,
could you please send a picture? I don’t think I fully understand the problem.
This is what it looks like for me…
Unfortunately Peter is no longer with us…
It is with great sadness that we share the news that our long-time community member Peter Van Epp passed away on February 9th. His family has kindly informed us of his passing.
For nearly a decade, Peter was one of the most dedicated and generous members of this forum. He spent countless hours helping others, sharing his expertise, and making this community welcoming for newcomers and experienced users alike. His patience, knowledge, and warmth touched all of us.

Best regards, Harald!
In Inspector, set size = “full”. That has a split bus, but the gap between the halves is double the distance between the other blocks of the bus lines. The “full+” version has full length bus with even block spacing.
It looks like what you really want is a “full+” version with the each bus broken in the middle, creating 8 shorter bus lines (4 each side). I have worked with that variation, but do not know of a matching Fritzing part. The “full” is the closest.
At one point I was working on a script to generate a custom breadboard part from parameters to deal with all of the variations seen in the wild. Eventually gave up.
The real image is from the breadboard i use, the other image is the bb-32655 split power buses.
I hope you can see on the real image, that the powerline is splitted, but NOT OFFSET !
so long
Peter is gone, that is not a good news at all. Belatedly, my condolences.
Hello,
I can’t find the part at all that you showed in your graphic. Mine looks like this:
Here’s the Fritzing file as well, I’m using Fritzing 1.0.7
Breadboard.fzz (3.2 KB)
Maybe I’m going about this in completely the wrong way…
Cheers, Harald!
Hello,
thank you. Wrong way? Why? The powerline is not colored, that’s all. Doesn’t matter.
You didn’t find it?
DuckDuckGo helps (input “bb-32655 split power buses”): Missing part: variant of breadboard - #12 by perlchamp
I, by myself generally use the breadboard of ELV → elv-58832 breadboard, made by Peter.
This forum is dead, too. Damn. Good bye.
Hello,
Peter had already worked on this before:
Unfortunately I am the one who made the original board so it is on me. Currently the original svg is breaking Inkscape so once I figure out what that is about I’ll correct the original part.
Works that way in Fritizng too, but the graphics standard calls for drawing units to be in 1/1000in so the size of the viewbox matters (not for rendering reasons but to meet the standard and to make svgs the same format which is useful when making parts.) So I prefer to set it correctly.
I have had a lo…
Does this part help you?

When I import it, it looks like this:
