Donation duration

Hi,

I used tu use Fritzing from time to time and I just saw that we need to make a donation to download the binaries.

This is not a problem for me, as it’s agreat project but I’d like to understand how it works :
It is a:

  • one time donation every time I want to download Fritzing
  • lifetime donation for every future versions ?
  • limited time donation (every new version for next n year(s)

Thank for your help on that point.

If I’m not mistaken, it’s a one-off donation, I don’t think you have to donate for every future version when you download it, but It’s a kind gesture to donate when future versions are released to help keep the development going.

I believe (but don’t know for sure) that the link in your donation receipt will allow downloads for about 1 year before a new donation is required (basically when your link no longer works you need to donate again. )
