Custom simple voltage divider

Custom Voltage Divider:red_exclamation_mark:

Hi everyone,
I need a custom part for a voltage divider board to step down an analog pressure sensor output from 4.5V to 3V. I only need the breadboard and schematic views.
I have attached two images for reference:

  1. The physical board: A photo of the actual perfboard.
  2. The hand-drawn schematic: A sketch of the wiring.
Is there an easy way to create this in Fritzing, or could someone please help me make this part? Thanks in advance!

Hello,

yes, that’s relatively straightforward. I can’t say whether this exact trimmer is available.

However, I’ll need the number of THT holes and maybe the exact schematic drawing again. It looks like the whole thing is supposed to appear twice on one board.

Best regards, Harald!

Hi Harald, sorry for the late reply! Thank you for helping me out again.

Regarding your questions:

  1. That is totally fine, any generic trimpot graphic is okay.
  2. The perfboard has 14 columns x 20 rows of THT holes.*
  3. Yes, you are exactly right. There are two identical circuits on the board (top and bottom). Both use the exact same schematic I provided, I will use it for two different analog pressure sensors.

Let me know if you need anything else. Thanks again!

I’ve now recreated the setup using Fritzing. I hope it’s correct.

Fritzing file:

Spannungsteiler.fzz (15.3 KB)

Feel free to modify or adjust the Fritzing file.

Cheers, Harald!

Hi Harald,

Thank you so much for all your help! I ended up just using the standard trimpot available in Fritzing and slightly modifying the resistor value to match my board.

Everything is perfect now and ready to use. I really appreciate your time and guidance. Cheers!
