Is it possible to make silkscreen colorful?

Silkscreen is by definition a single color (typically white but board houses also offer different colors) so I believe Fritzing renders them monochrome.

So i can only have outlines of my image?
Or is it possible to have different shadings in one color? Like light gray, gray, white, etc.?
AFAIK that is correct. Silkscreen only has a single color, no shades or intensity changes.

In some cases it is possible to combine copper, silkscreen and copper mask. Together with the bare PCB color, you get 4 different colors.
