Changing the path of the storage folders under MacOS

Dear community,
I am looking in vain for the possibility to change the path of the storage folders in the Fritzing version 0.9.10 under MacOS.
This is currently saved under “Documents” and I don’t want to have this in the folder for synchronisation reasons.

Does anyone know a way to change this setting?

Unless it has changed in later versions the path is hard coded in the code and needs a code change to change. I however haven’t looked at this in 3 or 4 years so I may be out of date.
