How do I simply change a Part Number… i.e. change R3 to (say) R4.
Also… when placing tracks in to a PCB… how can I (pre)select its layer and width??

To change the part label from R3 to R4, simply select the part and edit the number in the inspector window (at the top).
Ah… thankyou. As it was in bold I thought that it was fixed… and that I should be changing “part #” at the bottom of list.
Any pointers on (pre)selecting track width and layer?
