I’ve found a work around for two line labels - duplicate the component and then move it off the board and use its label as the second line - but being able to have a second line without doing that would be nice. It works for me because I work exclusively in PCB mode, and moving the component off the board effectively deletes it, but in schematic that wouldn’t work I think.

Cool, I can do that. But then why have this forum at all?
It is from the time before development stopped when there was more activity here. Development has only restarted (after a 5 year pause) a couple of years ago and the new developers are focusing on github. They do read the forums sometimes but would likely have given the same advise.
