Cannot read text in Code window

I am in my 70s and I cannot properly see the light grey text on the black background of the code editing window, and the text is too small. Is there any way of making the text white and larger?

Cheers

Ian

I don’t know of a way. I usually do the code in the Arduino IDE and then load it in to the code window as the IDE is easier to use. Also note I believe you need a downlevel version of the Arduino IDE as I don’t believe the latest versions work correctly.

Thank you for your reply. Part of the problem is the Arduino IDE for has a white background and the light grey text shows up quite well against that background. But if you import the code into Fritzing, the editor changes the background to black. Would it be possible for the Fritzing editor background to copy the Arduino IDE background when Arduino is selected?

Maybe, bu t it would require a code change (and i don’t know how difficult or how much interest there would be in doing so.) An enhancement request here:

would be the place to start. If it is easy and considered useful (or wanted by a large set of folks) it may get done but developer time is limited.

Peter

Thanks for the pointer. I will give that a try.
