Cannot modify a via

Using Fritzing 1.0.1 on my Kubuntu 24.04 linux system.

After installing I cannot modify a via or a Hole. When changing for instance the hole diameter nothing happens after setting a new diameter. Everything keeps unchanged.

All other components (resistors) I can change the parameters. What am I doing wrong or what did I forget to do first.

All right, no response but in the meantime I solved it.

There is no such problems with Vias known. However, 1.0.1 is quite old. You might want to use our latest official release instead, which makes it much easier to look into any problems.

That was the case when I solved the problem: downloaded the latest version and used the AppImage to get it running. Problem solved.
