Blink - Not blinking

Hey!

I downloaded the software yesterday having heard of it from a friend but I am still new to electronics and Arduino. I tried learning as much as I could then built (on fritzing) the blink program, from the Arduino website. From what I can see, our schematics look the same, our breadboard look the same, and code looks the same, but my light is the blinking or even turning on. Is it supposed to turn blink on the fritzing software?

I am so sorry to inform you, fritzing is not simulator software… Fritzing is breadboard friendly so you can swiftly move into a schematic/PCB board. The code interface is for uploading code to your Arduino device. I always recommend a bench build for testing purposes. Hopefully this answers your question.
