Asking for opinions

Hello, I don’t know if I’m allowed to do this request, but ill try. I’m trying to make a fire detection and location tracking system using multi-sensor fusion and dual-path communication

so basically this is a fire detector with a location tracking so im quite having a trouble on my pinouts if they are properly connected since i cant simulate it and i still dont know if i should use a LM2596S DC-DC Buck Converter. the reason it has a battery is for backup power for electric outage situations. im quite struggling please any opinion or any help would be much appreciated

I know its ridiculous, but in my opinion never use breadboard for complex circuitry. You can see by yourself that this design looks cool, but cluttered. we all once wanted our diagram/cad to look as cool as possible, but we end up with a cluttered circuit mat that’s difficult to manage.

And, always make the schematic diagram first then make the cad. with this you can know which pin connects to what. Hope this helps you.

I’m not sure what your question is. But, it sounds like a cool idea. I like to break down my projects into functional chunks. You have three good distinct parts. Fire detection. GPS. Battery backup.
