Arduino UNO R4 wifi

Hello Peter, and thank you for this Arduino UNO R4 WiFi part. We use it in many of our tutorials.

We found one small problem: all connectors in the part are male, also the 4 Uno headers. Fritzing connects two parts only male to female, so a shield or a screw terminal block dropped on the board does not connect to its pins. On the real board (and in the core Arduino Uno (Rev3) part) these headers are female.

We made a version based on your part with these changes:

  • the 4 Uno headers are female, so shields connect (ICSP, Qwiic, OFF/GND/VRTC and the ESP32-S3 header stay male)
  • pin names are the board labels (D0, D1, A0 …)
  • a new schematic with the pins on the 0.1 inch grid
  • same frame and connector IDs, so a sketch can switch to it by changing only the part

You can find it here: https://forum.fritzing.org/t/arduino-uno-r4-wifi-fritzing-part/34723

If you prefer, you are welcome to make the same header change in your part, and we will point people to yours.

Thanks again for your work!
