Annotation: white letters on beige background

I’ve got a Fritzing file with several annotations (the Post-it-like objects), which have one problem: The characters are white, and the Post-it is beige!

This does not look practical when exporting into a graphics file like PNG or printing.

How can I change the text color from white to something darker? I can’t find any corresponding entry in the context menu.

I don’t think you can on the note feature. You would need to use the text feature which allows you to set the text color (but I don’t think the background color) like this:

drag the text icon in to the sketch then in Inspector (the lower right window) set the text color to what you want.

OK, thank you. The text widget itself does work, but you can’t place a text on top of a post-it. So I removed the post-its.
