3 parts PLEASE: solar charger, H Bridge & voltage booster?

Hello Everybody,

I have been struggling to find Fritzing drawings for three modules I use in my project ( a small, solar powered metal detecting robot).

  1. I have just found the solar charge module that looks OK I think (I need to double check the pin spacing). That’s in the Fritzing forums.

  2. I also contacted a Japanese organisation who seem to have the MX1508 H-Bridge motor driver Fritzing drawing. They just now got back to me and promised to ask their member if they have the file. It is the one at this link which seems to be a variant of the one documented on the Fritzing website: [MX1508 DC Motor Driver with PWM Control Pinout, Datasheet, Features, Working].

  3. Finally (apologies), the voltage booster is very elusive! It is on the manufacturers website here: [http://www.mateksys.com/?portfolio=vb2a5v]. But I cannot find a Fritzing drawing anywhere! :frowning:

Could anybody PLEASE help with Fritzing drawings for these? In terms of priorities that would be 3,2,(1) please?

Thank you so much. T.

Hi,

Fun idea

For anyone who will draw these parts, he will need:

  • part shape with dimension: :white_check_mark:
  • holes location: :x:
    • from a fix point (top left corner is better, or center if the shape is a “circle”)
  • holes diameter: :x:
  • symbol for the schematic view:  (nice to have)
  • pin names: :white_check_mark:
  • connected pins: :white_check_mark:
    • (ex: connector accessible from several pins, like gnd on arduino nano…)

NB:

  • dimensions and units (imperial, metric) need to be accurate to avoid wasting PCB.

These two parts should do what you want

Hello Peter,

Thank you so much for your help. These look perfect! I really appreciate it. I was really stuck there for a while! You saved me!

All the best.

Dear Peter,

Could you please possibly help with one last peace for the robot? It’s a compass module. I found one in the forums which may work in terms of the PCB footprint. But it’s a different board entirely. However, it may suffice. Ideally though I’d like the proper board design please then some time in the future I can publish my overall design?

Thank you and best wishes.

This should do what you want.

Thank you so much Peter! That’s fabulous. Again, it looks perfect.

I owe you a debt of gratitude.

Really appreciate it.

Best wishes.
