Arduino Mega 2560 (Rev3)-Top Mounted

Arduino Mega 2560 (Rev3) for Top PCB Mount.

The PCB view of the Arduino Mega 2560 (Rev3) in Arduino Bin flipped upside down with the text flipped back so as to be readable. Other views haven’t changed
Protruding component position is outlined to provide indication of part contact.
Number in component outline is mm of protrusion of the component from the Mega PCB. Subtract the number from the USB (11mm), and it gives the air gap under the component.

UPDATE - Mounting holes plus extra hole positions added to silkscreen.

These holes will NOT get drilled in production, you have to manually add a hole from CORE parts bin and place them over circles in silkscreen where you want the actual PCB drilled.

Large circles in silkscreen are mounting holes, small circles are if you want to add holes in your PCB to press reset or see LEDs blinking.

Most people won’t need the mounting holes, but I’m using it in a high vibration situation in a car and need the reliability of a bolted down part.

Sorry, the part was right after all.
I have 2 of these parts in MINE bin, one with drill holes and one without, and I thought I posted the wrong hole one.
