Post the svg (you will likely need to zip it and upload it as a .fzp file as the forum often has problems uploading svgs) and I will have a look at it. One common problem is that the svg has px on the font-size (FritzingCheckPart.py will remove them for you) which cause the font-size to get set to 0 in Fritzing which causes them to be very small.
