is there a way to put in a schematic and have fritzing do a breadboard layout?

Not sure exactly what you are asking… When you create a schematic view… that is drag all the parts you need into the schematic view and connect them all together with wires - it also adds the parts and air wires to the breadboard view and pcb view. You need to just drag them around where you want them and create wires out of the air wires.
