Well, my use-case is that I do own ‘OCR A Pro’ and ‘OCR B Pro’ from undisclosed type foundry. Are those texts in SVGs parsed in any way or can I convert them to outlines instead?
I do not plan to submit those parts initially, but I would be willing to do it later when those will be in production quality.

although I don;t know that this answers your question. If convert to outline means make them in to paths instead of fonts, then yes that has been done to many of the parts in core (and implies that fonts aren’t being parsed for anything).
