Help with a MCP23017 version I can't find

I am one day into learning Fritzing but fearlessly asking for help, please.

So far I’ve managed to find several components and imported them successfully but I’ve searched and looked at a LOT of MCP23017 IC boards and can’t find the one I want to use as seen below. Has anyone developed this one?

Brand LLidgermal
Model Name MCP23017 IO Expander Board
Connectivity Technology I2C, PH2.0

This is all the information Amazon has for it. I can’t find it on Mouser or Digikey. Nothing when I search for the MFG amazon lists. Not much help I know. If someone could help me with this it would be greatly appreciated since one day in, I’m not exactly to the point where I could develop his on my own.

I’m sure I’ve never posted on any board requesting assistance and received NO replies. Especially as a newcomer. Not even a moderator. Sad.

Did you look at the template for requesting help with a part file? Providing usable information tends to help getting someone to look further.

Hi everyone ,@bullitt5094 !

We don’t know what is your final project, but the MCP23017 is well documented, I think you can reproduce this board (or something similar you need) in your own project with Fritzing…

Here the links I’m using every day :

About the I2C itself :

Cheers, good luck !

THANK YOU!! for the response. As noted I am new. Is the template you refer to the one that is part of these posts or is there another one somewhere? But that said, I’ve given all of the information I am able to find in the post. Can I assume that isn’t enough information and I’ll have to develop something usable on my own?
Again, thank you very much for the reply microMerlin.

I do know the chip is already well documented. I was hoping for something that was more graphically accurate to the component I’m using than the chip. I know you can draw/develop these, but again I’m new and I was hoping I didn’t have to push myself down that learning curve quite yet.
Thanks for taking the time to respond sir. I really appreciate it!

When a new topic is created, and the “parts help” category selected, the templates shows up with the first line saying to edit it. It “appears” that you deleted that instead of editing it.

I looked at each item and answered those that I knew. I then deleted all of the questions thinking that would be a more “user friendly” post. I assume from your response that is not what is typically done. I’ll just put in what I know in the “form” next time. Again, I’m just learning how to deal with Fritzing and this support group.

One of the issues of you not finding sufficient information about the board is that others also may not find the required information that would allow to produce a part.

What you could do is buy the part and then measure all required dimensions and post them.
