# Fritzing for education – buy once and pass on to students?

Is a teacher allowed to download or purchase Fritzing once and then distribute the downloaded official version of Fritzing to their students for educational purposes and install it on school computers?

So the process would be as follows:

- Download by one person, for example the teacher
- Distribution of the downloaded version as a zip archive for various operating systems
- Installation on school computers
- Use for educational purposes, for example in a Maker Space

if everything stays within the school and doesn’t get passed on…  
I think so…
