Do I need to avoid certain spaces?

Designing a shield for a Mega 2650 and almost ready for fabrication. Do I need to avoid drawing traces over the ICSP pins (circled in red)?

I’m not sure, but I expect it will depend on whether the ICSP pins have headers and thus may short to the shield traces. Safest would be to route the top side trace around the ICSP box since you have room. That said the trace is on the top of the board and thus even if the ICSP pins touch the shield they should be on the bottom of the board and thus not a problem. If there are headers present you may need holes in the shield to allow the ICSP pins to come through the shield though.
