so i just downloaded Fritzing. I was playing around with the core parts bin side bar on the right. then i accidentally deleted the side bar somehow and I can not seem to figure out a way to get them back. I tried un-downloading the app then re- downloading it but that did not do it. I am on a Mac by the way, if that has any consolation.
Sounds like you accidentally closed the parts bin. I’m not sure how this works on a MAC, but on a PC we just right click in that sidebar dialog area and check that parts is checked. This will bring back the parts bin. Hope this help.

Go to the ‘Window’ menu, check 'Parts’
Now you should be able to dock it again
