I need a 3.3v SMD voltage regulator

It appears that fritzing doesn’t have a 3.3v SMD voltage regulator. I can’t find a SMD 3.3v voltage regulator that’ll fit in the 5v SMD regulator footprint. Does anybody know a SMD 3.3v voltage regulator that’ll fit in the 5v SMD regulator footprint, or a part to go with a 3.3v SMD voltage regulator?

Have you tried the lm1117 in core parts (found with a google search for
“fritzing part 3,3v smd voltage regulator”)? If that isn’t what you want post a link to the part that you do want and I’ll look at it.

That should work! Thanks, @vanepp!!

Hi vanepp,
I hope I am not pushing my luck with your patience. You have already replied twice on “Atmega328p-mu part”, thanks.
I intend to power my atmega using a usb-micro b plug, that should give me 5v. However, I also need 3.3v for two other components. So, the above lm1117 looks very promising. According to specs I shall use the package “TO-220 | 3”. But it appears not to be included. Hope you can help.

Not a problem, if you type v_reg_ld1117 in to the parts search box on the upper right, and hit enter the appropriate part from Sparkfun should come up.
